The Biologics Conference and Workshop is an initiative undertaken by Dr. Ratnesh Jain and Dr. Prajakta Dandekar Jain to carry out outreach and training activities. Initially called the Biosimilar workshop, it is a platform to provide the practical skills and knowledge required to acquire a firm position in the industry. Under this initiative, we host programs which can bridge the gap between individuals and industries through learning and interaction with experts and leaders while gaining practical knowledge. The journey of the Biologics Workshop began in 2017 as the Biosimilar workshop and since then a large number of hands-on training workshops and conferences have been organized under this initiative.
Very recently, a new and sophisticated cGMP infrastructure called the Mumbai Biocluster is evolving within the campus of the Institute of Chemical Technology, Mumbai. The facility is set to stand 8 storeys tall housing sophisticated equipment as well as invaluable manpower and expertise dedicated to promoting biopharma innovation in India. This section-8 company will function as a Bio-manufacturing Hub for the development of affordable drugs and vaccines, dedicated to research and development, upskilling and training.
The 5th Annual Summit of the Biologics Conference and workshops is set to make history as the first conference organized in association with the Mumbai Biocluster. This one-of-its-kind conference is dedicated to the biopharma industry appealing not only to the industry leaders but also attracting experts from academia and start-ups. This year, the conference is dedicated to Biopharmaceutical Product Development and includes a wide range of topics covering bioprocess technologies, biomanufacturing, relevant regulatory policies, advanced therapies including cell and gene therapy and mRNA development as well as the BioNext Symposium focusing on automation and incorporation of AI-ML. This event provides opportunities to meet experts, professionals, academicians, and researchers from all over the world, opening doors to new practices or revising existing practices. One of the key aspects of the Biologics Conference is the Keynote Leaders Talk wherein the participants get the opportunity to interact with the leadership of the Biopharma industry inspiring innovation and success.
